Youth 1:1 Coaching
My mission working with youth is to cultivate a positive space to explore individual strengths and barriers. Jiu-jitsu serves as a modality to build transferable skills such as emotional regulation, independence, self-esteem, and body awareness.

Self-defense begins before a situation becomes physical. We have an opportunity to manage risk through cultivating an authentic relationship with our whole self, establishing core values, and having the ability to identify safe relationships through curating a healthy relationship with self.

Verbal distance management focuses on strategies to identify and set boundaries. Setting and upholding boundaries is a muscle, the more it is done, the more natural it becomes. A starting point to increase strength in our voice is to clearly identify our values. Values are the backbone to boundaries. Through identifying our values, we can confidently set and uphold boundaries from a place of high self esteem and clarity.

MyLine focuses on jiu-jitsu techniques that are applicable for self-defense. A beautiful quality of jiu-jitsu is adaptability.
